I thought if I tried to cut weight I would slack on the field, in the weight room, or just feel starved. I realize I was wrong now, and I was able to drop 12 pounds without seeing a decrease in anything I actually saw my numbers in the weight room increase, and once I learned to eat proteins first and stay away from "empty" calories I did not feel hungry anymore.
